We deliver private Pilates classes either at our home studio (Studio 154) or in the comfort of your own home if space allows, at a time and location that is convenient for you. This is a great option for those who lead busy lives and struggle to fit in wellness activities around work, children and home life. It is also great for beginners who might like to have a few home sessions before building up the confidence to then integrate into a class, enabling you to get a better understanding of Pilates and establish the basics before participating in a group setting. Or perhaps you are recovering from an injury or illness and looking to gently build back up. We can host up to 6 people in a private class but the beauty of smaller sessions is that it enables our instructors to really work with you on a personal level, to understand your goals, provide more individual attention and support you, to ensure you are executing the exercises correctly and getting the most out of each Pilates session. Private lessons are tailored to your needs whether you’re an individual, couple or small group.
If you are block booking 6 classes (as a 1:1 or 1:2) we offer a complimentary free 30-minute more detailed consultation and assessment at the first meeting to determine goals and assess ability and range of movement to build a personalised Pilates plan for you. If you are happy we encourage photographs to be captured which enable us to get a better insight into your current posture and alignment to devise future lesson plans to support strengthening key areas. For the photos we ask if you can wear shorts and a vest so knees and shoulder joints are visible.
